INTRODUCTION
The EtonHouse Group is a provider of Educational Services in Singapore and China. The 1st school was founded in Singapore, in 1995.
At Chengdu EtonHouse we cater for children from 2 to 6 years old at this stage, and growing. Open to all nationalities.
CURRICULUM
International curriculum, based on the International Baccalaureate Programme.
Our language teachers teach within the child's normal classes, so that children are improving both English and Chinese.
STAFF
Most staff are from Australia or Singapore and are fully registered and trained teachers, many with post graduate qualifications.
FACILITIES
Library, music room, outdoor equipment and playing area, cuisine catering for different cultures
SCHOOL YEAR AND SCHOOL DAY
The school year is from September until July. The school day starts at 8.30am and ends at 3.30pm. Pre-school care from 7am, and after-school care until 5.30pm.
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
EtonHouse has developed a new method, Inquire-Think-Learn', that encourages children to think for themselves. Our philosophy of teaching is on the simple belief of having respect, responsibility and duty of care towards every student. We provide a multi-cultural environment that allows the children to develop academically, physically and emotionally.
We feel, children's learning in the early years is dynamic and fluid. As early educators we value the process of learning (problem solving, thinking and communicating, which is demonstrated when they interact with peers, materials and adults). We believe children should learn through play as play is an expression of our creativity.
Our ultimate aim is for the children to have a firm believe and control over who they are and what they accomplish and have a continuous passion to learn.
